WHAT IS
STAR REALM VR ?
Star Realm VR is a
virtual reality multiplayer sandbox-building and social platform that allows you to build and decorate floating islands with friends.
Our game makes virtual world creation easy and fun. With the intuitive “pick-and-place” system, everyone can become a creator with just ideas.
We emphasize on real-time co-op building and virtual land ownership, aka the “Realms”. You can build your own Realm, gather like-minded people, and have fun talking or playing with them.

What is the unique thing about Star Realm VR?You can think of Star Realm as VR FPV Discord and Realms are pretty much like Servers in which you and your friends can hang out. But this time, you get to create, build, and decorate the world however you want it to be in real-time collab mode. You can change the sky, the background music, and the land color. You could put down towers, houses, and fountains. You could even pull out a poker table from our editor and immediate starter playing. You name it and we will try our best to make that happen. In the end, our mission is to make an evolving virtual environment owned by unique communities who have shared access to it.

What is co-op building?Co-op building is just like building LEGO with friends. The creation system is based on a simple pick-chose-place process. You can pick basic building elements or Mini-mods and decorate empty scenes to create your own Realm.

What do the Realms look like?Our Realms are designed to look like floating islands in the sky. (Think of those sky islands from the movie Avatar in animate, low poly style.)

What is Mini-mod?Mini-mods are purchasable building elements that include unique mechanisms and interactions. It ranges from 3D models to 2D art, music, VFX or SFX, and more. The idea of Mini-mods comes from modding which allows players to install game content created by creators outside the game. In other words, you can buy and pick Mini-mods created by both the official dev team and individual modders and use them to decorate your realm.

Who are on the team?We are a group of experienced game developers and designers from top game studios and game schools. Our team members come from Tencent Timi Studio, Happy Elements, USC Games, and Utah Games.
